Brave New World
by Courtney Gundry
Everyone belongs to everyone
So play around cuz I've found
It's the key to happiness
Release the beast of temptation and go with the appealing feeling
Love's but a disease
And you'll be pleased to know we've found a cure
It's a sure thing
Drink a beer and forget the tears of the girl you left behind
What does it matter you're fatter than ever
Filled with pleasure
Selecting then rejecting is protecting
You from ever getting infected
But, the illness brings a stillness in the riff of your ecstacy
You have emotions and the notion
That there's a station past this state of ideal living
She's giving you glimpse out of your bubble
And it's causing trouble
Because everyone belongs to everyone
A new girl and a new drug
Leaves you snug in your world of emotionally dead nirvana
Only the now is how you get by
Minute by minute
Gal by gal
But, shall I tell you where that leaves you
On one side of a wall that will eventually fall
And when you step into that Brave New World
You won't find what your mind knows you're looking for
The core of your being
The fling that you string along was long gone
Because everyone belongs to everyone
So she moved on
